Calls have been made to install flashing speed signs outside Rahealty School near Thurles.
Speeding past the school has become a major issue, which has been raised by local parents and teachers.
The council have agreed to undertake a speed survey in the area – and have already installed static speed signs.
However, Councillor David Doran, who lives in the area, says flashing speed signs are necessary.
