A new body to advise the government on public service pay won't now report back until next summer.
As industrial action looms among teachers and Gardaí, the Irish Times reports proposals on the new commission will go to cabinet today.

It's expected the new body will be asked, where possible, to compare rates of pay between public and private sectors, and between Ireland and other countries.
The government has so far stood firm on the existing Lansdowne Road pay deal, despite a number of demands from industry groups.
