Refugees break through police line in Hungary

It comes as France says it will take in 24-thousand refugees over two years, amid demands by Germany and Austria that other EU countries do more.

Meanwhile Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania, have rejected the idea of official quotas. 

The Hungarian highway from the border town of Rozske leading to Budapest was closed last night to prevent several hundred refugees who had pushed passed the police cordon from getting to the capital city.

Over a thousand people had waited all day some of them several days for a bus to take them for registration, when none was forthcoming, they protested against police.
