Speed limits on some of Tipperary's roads may be changing over the coming months.
A review of the existing limits on routes right across the county gets underway today when the council's Strategic Policy Committee on roads meet.
In recent months there have been calls on the authority to alter speeds in several areas including between the Horse and Jockey and Cashel on the N8 as well around some housing estates.
Director of Services Marcus O'Connor says it will be a comprehensive review with views of the public being sought
