Fine Gael leadership vote heading for Tipperary

Tipperary Fine Gael members will be casting their votes for a new party leader tomorrow.

Fine Gael members began voting on Monday and the result will be announced on Friday.

Turnout is at over 50% so far in the leadership election between Leo Varadkar and Simon Coveney.

Voting takes place at the Horse & Jockey hotel tomorrow evening.

Fine Gael Councillor Phyl Bugler is Cathaoirleach of the Nenagh Municipal District – speaking to Fran Curry during Tipp Today’s live broadcast from Ballina this morning she was being coy about who she would be voting for.
