Coveney attends Belfast talks on power-sharing

Talks are taking place in Belfast today aimed at the formation of a power-sharing Executive.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Simon Coveney, and the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, James Brokenshire, will attend the talks with all of the main political parties.

The British Government has set a deadline of June 29th to restore the power-sharing executive in Northern Ireland before it considers the introduction of direct rule from Westminster.
