17 of these are on trolleys while 11 are in overflow areas of wards.
University Hospital Limerick – which serves North Tipp – is the busiest in the country today with 36 patients waiting to be provided with a bed on a ward.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 387 people without a bed today.
