Cancer nurses at Cork University Hospital will begin a work to rule today.
From 8 o'clock this morning staff in the Oncology/Radiotherapy ward will prioritise nursing care and withdraw from office duties.
Their union the INMO says there aren't enough nurses employed in the hospital.
But they have promised patients won't be affected by their industrial action.
