Another local community in County Tipperary is taking steps to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in their area.
A text alert system for Cloughjordan is being set up with locals encouraged to get involved.
They network is being set up following the success of similar initiatives in other parts of the county.
Charles Williams is involved in the efforts to set up the system.
He says the text alert process is very straight forward but that local people need to sign up for it.
Application forms are in the local churches and the post office – they have to be returned to the local Garda Station by October 31st with a public meeting planned for the 6th of November in the GAA Hall.
