So far this year, the county has been issued with nine new cars to add to the current fleet…while another four are due to arrive in the coming weeks.
The county has two Traffic Corps units, based in Cahir and Thurles with several thousand kilometres of roads to cover.

A total of 27 and a half million euro has been invested nationally in the Garda fleet between 2012 and 2014.
