The Shannon Catchment Flood Risk Assessment and Management project is focused on areas along the river basin which have experienced flooding in the past.
A Public Consultation Day is being held at the Abbey Court Hotel in Nenagh from 2 to 7.30 today and also at Killaloe Library from 2 o'clock until 5.30.
Project manager Joseph McNamara is encouraging people from the area to attend so that they can see what progress is being made and also to have their input into the strategy.
