The LÉ RÓISÍN is the fourth Irish vessel to be deployed to the area in a bid to help those fleeing war torn Syria.
So far this year just over 1200 people have died in the Mediterranean trying to flee to Europe according to the International Organisation for Migration.
Motasum fled Syria and now lives in Ireland – he's calling on our Government to do all it can to try and end the conflict.
