A motorist has been arrested after testing positive for cocaine in Cahir.
Gardai were on a routine patrol of the town last night when they say one of their patrols car was almost hit by a vehicle exiting a housing estate.
The vehicle was stopped and the driver tested positive for cocaine.
He will appear in court in connection with the incident at a later date.
