The motorcyclist was injured after his bike collided with a jeep and a horsebox on the old N8 at Kedra in Cahir.
It happened at around 7.50 yesterday evening.
He was rushed to South Tipp General Hospital where his condition is described as critical.
Head of the Cahir Garda Traffic Corp Inspector Eddie Golden is appealing to anyone who may have seen the accident happen to contact the Gardaí.
