Over 400 people are waiting for a hospital bed today at Emergency Departments across the country.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation 47 of these are at University Hospital Limerick which serves North Tipperary.

Once again the Dooradoyle hospital is the most overcrowded in the country today.
The situation at South Tipp General has eased slightly since yesterday with 17 patients on trolleys around the ED or in overflow areas of wards.
In all there are 407 people without a bed in hospitals today – up 8 from yesterday.
