Traffic lights have been operating at the landmark for the last seven months following the discovery of defects that need repairs.
As part of Tipperary County Council's budget this year, 60 thousand euro has been allocated for Ardfinnan…however, it's estimated that the work will cost over half a million Euro
Local Independent Councillor Martin Lonergan contacted Minister Paschal Donohoe seeking additional funding for the repairs.
He says the reply from the Minister was far from acceptable.
