Traffic lights have been operating at the landmark for the last seven months following the discovery of defects that need repairs.

Local Independent Councillor Martin Lonergan contacted Minister Paschal Donohoe seeking additional funding for the repairs.
He says the reply from the Minister was far from acceptable.
