The Energy Minister says wind turbine technology is safe despite a number of incidents across the country.
A blade came off one turbine in Kerry and investigations by the Health and Safety Authority and the manufacturer are underway.
There are numerous windfarms in operation in Tipperary; however, none of the incidents have occurred in the Premier County.
