Nobody was injured in the incident in the town centre but a sum of cash was taken.
This robbery took place in a shop in the town centre in West Tipperary shortly after 8 o'clock last night.
Two men, armed with knives, entered the business….they threatened staff and managed to get away with the contents of the cash register.
The suspects then fled the scene…Gardaí in Tipperary town are appealing for anyone who may have been around the town centre last night around 8 o'clock and may have seen anything to come forward with any information they may have.
Nobody was seriously injured during the robbery, but staff are said to be very shaken.
