Gardaí were called to the scene at Auburn House on Pearse Street in Cahir shortly after midnight on Monday night where they found a number of youths in their late teens and early 20's engaged in a confrontation.
Two females sustained injuries during the incident – One was treated at the scene for superficial wounds the other was taken to South Tipp General Hospital but has since been discharged.
One man with an address in Cork was arrested and is still being held at Cahir Garda Station for questioning on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
