The 36 year old was arrested following the discovery of 2 kilos of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of over €40,000 during a search of premises in the North Tipp Town area.
It was all part of an intelligence led joint operation between Officers of the Revenue Commissioners Customs Service, the Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the Nenagh Divisional Drugs Unit.
The 36 year old has since been released from garda custody and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
