Gardaí in County Limerick are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian in his 50's was struck by a lorry and died.
The incident happened on Lord Edward Street, Kilmallock, at a quarter past five yesterday evening.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to University Hospital Limerick where a post mortem is to be carried out.
Gardaí say no arrests have been made.
