Lives at risk if Nenagh ambulance service is curtailed

The HSE is carrying out a review of the advanced paramedic vehicles that were brought in when the A&E in Nenagh reduced its hours.

It's understood a meeting between ambulance paramedics and management has already taken place in Tipperary.

The HSE says no decisions on the future of the service will be made until the review is finished.

However speaking on Tipp Today Noreen Kennedy of the Friends of Nenagh Hospital Group said any curtailment of the rapid response unit would have serious consequences.
