According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 22 people on trolleys or chairs from the hospitals Emergency Department.
There been a marked increase in the number on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick which serves North Tipp……it's risen from 14 yesterday to 36 today which is the highest in the country.
Meanwhile there's been a reduction of 11 in the figures for University Hospital Waterford where there are 19 patients on trolleys today.
Nationally the nursing organisation is reporting a reduction of 113 to 424.
