Lack of role models for young women in Ireland

The organisers of 'Femfest' say almost two-thirds of girls between the ages of 16 and 24 have body issues that would stop them from taking on a leadership role.

They also claim that women growing up in Ireland have few role models of their own sex and blame the lack of females in the Dail and on-air.
