Labour party members in Tipperary will meet this evening to ratify a candidate for the forthcoming General Election.
The party's selection convention takes place in the Anner Hotel in Thurles at 8pm.
Minister Alan Kelly is set to be the only nomination before the gathering.
The convention will be chaired by Tánaiste and Labour leader Joan Burton.
