Trump calls for end to violence in Virginia

Police in Virginia have been granted the power to declare a curfew in Charlottesville after clashes during a far-right rally left three people dead and dozens injured.

A woman was killed when a car ploughed into a group of anti-fascist protestors – a 20 year old man has been charged with second-degree murder.

And two State Troopers died when the helicopter they were in, which was monitoring the demo, crashed just outside the city.

Donald Trump says the violence needs to end now.
