Increased number of people on trolleys today

The figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Association show the highest number is in Our Ladies of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda, where there are 31 people waiting for beds.

Hospital overcrowding last month was at its highest level ever for July, with 6,715 patients on trolleys.

That's an increase of 21 per cent over the same month last year.
