IBI call for new broadcasting charge to replace TV license

Over a billion euro has been collected from the TV license over the last five years; however, the majority of the money has gone to RTE and TG4. 

The Independent Broadcasters of Ireland group says the fee needs to be replaced with a broadcasting charge and distributed more evenly.
