I.B.C. against sugar tax

They're vocally against the tax which could affect the revenue of drinks companies. 

They claim a sugar tax won't have the desired health benefits for people. 

Kevin McPartlan, Director of the IBC, says an increase in the price of fizzy drinks could encourage people to shop elsewhere.

But Donal O'Shea, the Chair of the College of Physicians Policy group on Obesity, refutes those claims – saying sugar taxes are working in other countries.
