The charity, and other homelessness prevention organisations, will be before a Dáil committee later this morning to present ideas for solving the current housing crisis.
Among the proposals from the Peter McVerry Trust, are utilising empty and underused private buildings for accommodation in urban areas, and providing greater support to prevent young people who are coming out of care from becoming homeless.
