According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 21 people waiting for a bed at South Tipp General in Clonmel.
13 of these are being cared for on trolleys or chairs while 8 are in overflow areas of wards.
At University Hospital Limerick, which provides Emergency Department cover for north Tipperary, there are 18 patients waiting to be provided with a bed on a ward.
Nationally there are 261 patients without a bed today – Dublin hospitals account for 53 of these with 208 across the rest of the country.
Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda is suffering most from overcrowding today with 31 people waiting for a bed.
