Hickey lawyers say he needs to come home

Pat Hickey's legal team is warning he needs to come home from Brazil for heart treatment.

The Former President of the Olympic Council of Ireland had his passport confiscated in August when he was arrested in Rio.

However several months later a trial date has yet to be set and 71-year-old Mr Hickey wants to be allowed leave.

The plea by the former head of the Olympic Council of Ireland coincides with two new reports into the organisation.

One by Deloitte covers the council's governance, while the other by Grant Thornton will focus on the sale of Rio tickets.

The ticketing report will be sealed and sent to Judge Carroll Moran to form part of his inquiry
