Large numbers on trolleys at UHL

University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded hospital in the country today.

The hospital, which serves North Tipperary, has 35 people in need of a bed.

It’s closely followed by St Luke’s in Kilkenny with 33 people on trolleys or in overflow areas of wards.

There are 8 people in South Tipp General waiting for a bed.

According to the INMO there are a total of 314 people across the country on trolleys this lunchtime.
