Hospital overcrowding continues

There are 74 patients on trolleys in hospitals serving Tipperary this afternoon.

54 of those are in University Hospital Limerick, which is the busiest facility in the country.

There are 19 patients without a bed in South Tipp General in Clonmel, with 1 in Nenagh General Hospital.

Nationally, according to the INMO there are 386 patients on trolleys today.
