Over 80 patients on trolleys at UHL

There are 379 patients on trolleys today across Irish hospitals.

The INMO records that University Hospital Limerick, which serves North Tipperary, is the worst affected by overcrowding, with 81 patients waiting for a bed.

That’s followed by St Vincent’s University Hospital and Cork University Hospital at 32, and Letterkenny University Hospital at 31.

TUH in Clonmel has seven patients on trolleys in the emergency department, while Nenagh General Hospital is unaffected by overcrowding today.
