127 people being cared for on trolleys at UHL

549 people are waiting for beds in hospitals around the country this afternoon.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected by overcrowding, with 127 patients on trolleys.

That’s followed by 63 at Cork University Hospital, and 48 at University Hospital Galway.

Staff at TUH in Clonmel are caring for 13 patients on trolleys today with another 4 in Nenagh.
