108 patients without a bed at UHL

124 patients are without a bed at the two main hospitals serving Tipperary today.

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are total of 595 people without a bed in Irish hospitals this afternoon.

University Hospital Limerick – which serves North Tipp – is the most overcrowded with 108 patients being cared for on trolleys or chairs.

16 people who have been admitted to Tipperary University Hospital in Clonmel are being cared for in the Emergency Department.
