It's the first time the judging has been held outside of Dublin or Belfast
25 judges from the UK will join 15 judges from Ireland for the four-day event which is being hosted by the Minella Hotel in Clonmel.
It forms part of the Tipperary Food Strategy which is co-ordinated by the Local Enterprise Office and aims to promote food producers from the county onto an international stage.
Mairead English-Maher is from the LEO in Tipperary and says it's a massive boost for Tipperary to be asked to host the event.
