A huge investment has been announced for a North Tipperary school.
Minister of State Alan Kelly has confirmed major works for the Presentation Secondary School in Thurles.
Six new classrooms and four resource rooms are to be built with work commencing immediately – it's hoped construction will be completed by October.
The Presentation along with Nenagh CBS are the first two schools in the country to receive funding under phase 2 of the Government's School Building Capital Programme for extensions and renovations.
