Eight people were also detained under Operation Thor with once since charged with burglary offences.
These arrests and seizures follow a major day long operation by Gardaí in the Thurles area yesterday involving local officers, backed up by the Dog unit, Regional Support Unit, Traffic Corps and the Drug Unit.

A total of eight premises were targeted – with amphetamines and MDMA – worth an estimated €2,000 seized by officers while they also recovered they they belive to have been stolen property.
8 men were arrested during the course of the operation- one subsequently appeared in court in Nenagh, charged with burglary and theft offence.
The remaining seven were released without charge and files are being prepared for the DPP
