Future unclear for Tipperary court services.

Solicitors across Tipperary remain fearful that more court services across the county could be under threat.

Previously a number of court sittings in the county have been lost following reviews carried out by the Courts Service with Templemore and Roscrea courthouses closing.

The Tipperary Solicitors Association recently received a letter from the court services about a further review of stand alone District Courts in the county.

Spokesperson Maura Derivan says this has raised concerns locally for sittings in Carrick on Suir, Cashel and Tipperary Town.
