Joe Hanrahan, who featured in The Vanishing Ireland series, died after the blaze at his Kilsheelan home in the early hours of Monday morning.
Locals were left shocked by the tragic death describing him as ‘a lovely man’ who was a familiar sight around the village.
Joe Hanrahan will be laid to rest following 12 o'clock funeral mass in Saint Mary's Church, Gambonsfield, Kilsheelan.
