Mourners at his removal yesterday heard he was a 'true public servant and a man of integrity'.
He died earlier this week at the age of 100.
Funeral mass will be held in the Church of the Sacred Heart in Donnybrook at half eleven.
Burial will be afterwards in Shanganagh cemetery.
