35-year-old Gareth Hutch was shot dead while getting into his car outside his home at Avondale House on North Cumberland Street last week.
So far two people have been charged in relation to the murder of the father of one.
A tight security presence is expected at the Holy Family Church on Aughrim Street in central Dublin.
Gareth Hutch will be laid to rest in Glasnevin Cemetery following the funeral mass.
