Locals in Grangemockler and Nine Mile House are still coming to terms with the death of Billy Joy.
He was killed in a motorcycle crash at Ballymack near Cuffsgrange in County Kilkenny on Saturday morning.
It's understood the 39 year old father of 3 young children was on his way to a motorcycle event in Dublin with some friends when the accident happened.
Billy Joy will be buried following 12.30 Mass in St Mary's Church, Grangemockler this afternoon.
