There’s good news for the local community in Gortnahoe.
They have been trying to secure a full time GP for a number of years.
It’s been confirmed this week that Dr. Conall MacConmara from the Ayrfield Medical Practice in Kilkenny is to take up the post in Gortnahoe.
Deputy Jackie Cahill says this is very positive news.
