Four people dead after Thailand attacks

The Irish Embassy in Bangkok says there's no indication that any Irish citizens have been injured in the Thailand attacks.

A string of bomb blasts there have left four people dead.

It's not yet known who's behind the attacks, but they appear to have been focused on tourist destinations.

Twin bombs hit the holiday resort of Hua Hin late last night and again this morning.

While a further two bombs were planted on the popular tourist island of Phuket earlier, with another two in the southern towns of Trang and Surat Thani.

Thai police say they don't think its terrorism – and are trying to work out whether the attacks are linked.
