According to the Irish Independent Frances Fitzgerald “would make no apology” for deporting people in cases where evidence suggested they were supporting Islamic extremism, even without a case going to court.
Earlier this month a 52-year-old man, was deported back to Jordan after it was alleged he was the foremost Irish-based facilitator of Isil fighters.
