Fatalities reported following Italy train collision

Two trains collided head-on – on a single line of track in the Puglia.

Authorities say the extent of the death toll is not yet clear as rescue efforts continue at the scene – with reports suggesting that as many as 12 people may have passed away in the crash.

Dozens more have been injured.

The trains, each with four cars, collided near the town of Andria.
