Tipperary Energy Agency appointed Green Week Ambassador

The chairperson and founder of the Tipperary Energy Agency has been appointed as an EU Green Week Ambassador for 2017.

Seamus Hoyne is currently Development and Public Engagement Manager and Co-Ordinator of Irish Build Up Skills at LIT Thurles.

He is one of only three European environmental leaders nominated to the Ambassador role.

Seamus was also involved in supporting the construction of Ireland’s first Eco Village in Cloughjordan.

EU Green Week 2017 runs until June 2 and focuses on ‘Green jobs for a Greener Future’

Speaking on Tipp Today with Fran Curry Seamus Hyne outlined what the role entails.
